The Harvest Share program is the most multi organizational group that we have seen emerge so spontaneously in Florence. There are many ways to assist and there is room for everyone.

Here's how you can get involved in the food deliveries with Harvest Share this year.

Attend our Planning Meetings

Five times per year many organizations meet to plan the menu, food sourcing, distribution groups, number of meals needed and full logistics. These meetings have included seven churches, three food distribution agencies, two banks, five private corporations, Chamber of Commerce, Florence school district, other non-profits, the Fire Department and more. We would be happy to invite you.

Collect Food Items at Your Location

We are preparing now for Christmas 2024. Last year, nine locations stepped forward and asked to put up food collection centers in their businesses, credit unions, FUSD schools, Chamber of Commerce, LGI Homes, and more. Each location agrees to collect 400 of the same item or purchase what was needed.
